He...Yeah, I don't see Bob getting anything snipped. He's not gonna do it. There's no way. :)
He's a big baby.
I'd much rather get on the NuvaRing or an IUD or something...
I'll have to talk with Bob. I just don't want to do anything permanent. You know? Even though I PROBABLY don't want four kids...Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13710413791490462220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7262794.post-5276136390096970442008-03-29T09:32:00.000-07:002008-03-29T09:32:00.000-07:00I can see why you've been so stressed, you've got ...I can see why you've been so stressed, you've got some big decisions to make! That debate is something moms and I talk about alot- it's tough, because, like you said- you're already IN surgery, so it would be "easier" for you. But, especially since you aren't completely sure you don't want more kids, my vote would be to keep your tubing as is. It is a quick outpatient procedure for guys, and CAN BE reverseable- so, in majority of our debates, the guy getting snipped is usually the best option.Anne Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02643072040343131635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7262794.post-75656205935345798972008-03-29T07:55:00.000-07:002008-03-29T07:55:00.000-07:00They do the tubal when you are already uh, opened ...They do the tubal when you are already uh, opened up...
So it wouldn't be an extra surgery for me.

And believe me, we know that the tubal isn't foolproof. Bob was SUPPOSED to be the last kid. His mom had the tubal after having him...
Four YEARS later, she had his little brother Todd.
So yeaaah.

The whole fact that I know I would have to have yet another surgical birth if I did have a fourth is a big factor. I mean, if I was having kids naturally there's no way I would even consider. But with each C-section, even nowadays, the risks go up for all kinds of stuff. Even though they tell you it's all good and it's all safe. There's just no way you can have your uterus cut open four, five, six times and have everything be A-OK. Know what I mean?
And I'm waaay too young to think that I could go on a few years of BC and call it a reproductive life. I've got at least another 5-10 years of being able to get knocked up in me. As you all are aware, I get knocked up pretty easily... :)Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13710413791490462220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7262794.post-77389477237260409302008-03-28T20:43:00.000-07:002008-03-28T20:43:00.000-07:00How much does it cost? Mebbe that's a better solution until you are SURE you don't want a fourth, you crazy wench.eafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08547811538309083481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7262794.post-74006931080492377382008-03-28T16:46:00.000-07:002008-03-28T16:46:00.000-07:00I'm with Debbie on this one. you have had 3 babie...I'm with Debbie on this one. you have had 3 babies cut out of you, its time for someone else to be cut on. And it is less invasive for the man, faster recovery, etc.
Co you get a discount if you have both done at once? And hate to tell you this, but we know someone who got pg with #4 when she had a tubal AND her husband had the snip snip. Totally one in a million chance, but we know it can happen!Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10063420342418937116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7262794.post-75309360229043572002008-03-28T14:26:00.000-07:002008-03-28T14:26:00.000-07:00THAT option is definitely off the table.Bob's made...THAT option is definitely off the table.
Bob's made it perfectly clear that noone is cutting his *ahem* you know.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13710413791490462220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7262794.post-12672396479310449202008-03-28T10:35:00.000-07:002008-03-28T10:35:00.000-07:00keep your tubing as is. get bob snipped. less inv...keep your tubing as is. get bob snipped. less invasive, easier to go back on, should you decide for a fourth spawn. with all that you'll have going on, i'd think your chance for infection is higher.... sooooo let the man take it. he should take some part in the physical burden, no? ;)debdillshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03990249949601776880noreply@blogger.com
