I've been hit with a bout of BAD luck.
Here's my last few days of mishaps and misadventures...
* Bedroom door FALLS off hinges
* While vacuuming, I fall into a glass coffee table, shattering it, and my pride
* Cats pee on freshly laundered clothing
* Cats pee on Elizabeth's bean bag chair
* My car's headlights get dangerously dim WHILE I AM DRIVING! I make it home.
* My nephew falls into a lake during Father's Day. He is rescued.
* I stab myself with a butter knife while cutting a strawberry
* In the heat of the summer, our fan breaks
* Because of crazy heat, I have to move my computer to a cooler room in the house. Unfortunately, the cable jack is not activated, thus keeping me off the internet (and basically unable to work) for three days.
I can't take much more of this!

Darling! That's terrible! I wish you all the luck in the world. I'll do my best to channel positive energies across state lines. In the mean time, stay away from exposed electrical outlets. Love you!
I also hooked myself with a fishhook yesterday. It was just a small hook though and I was able to extricate myself without incident.
It's a crazy life.
