Easter: A menu

Easter Dinner
  • Baked ham - no pineapples, no sticky glaze just ham
  • Braised peas - with scallions, yum!
  • Scalloped potatoes - cheeeeezy
  • Fried artichoke hearts
  • Corn casserole with cheddar topping
  • Hard boiled eggs, colored by Elizabeth (of course)
  • Green salad

And for dessert

  • Strawberry pie or cake, I'm not sure which I'm not in charge of dessert!

Yum! That sounds good! We just started a new diet so our Easter dinner will consist of: ham, cauliflower "mashed potatoes," green salad, and deviled eggs. For dessert, sugar-free jello. Not quite as good as strawberry pie!

Sounds really good. We went out to eat on Easter (nothing fancy). We had Easter brunch instead: eggs, monkey bread, cheesy hashbrowns, and bacon.

It was a strawberry pie and we didn't even GET to it there was so much other good stuff!!
I also threw in a little crab dip and carrots for appetizers.

I left the crescent rolls off the menu, which was just as well, since in keeping with family tradition I also forgot to make them. Whoops!

Corn Casserole is both delicious and easy to make. It's a Paula Deen recipe...
More on that later.
