Pox? Vaccines are crap!

Yesterday afternoon I noticed that Dylan had some spots on his back. Seeing as how I am covered head to toe in mosquito bites, I figured he got some nibbles too.
Just to be safe I circled a few of them so I could check them out today and see if they had changed.
Well, great balls of fire they changed!
The little specks are turning into pus-filled pimples! And they're multiplying. Mostly they are on his back but he's got a few on his legs, belly and face! His poor cute face! I'm trying to just keep an eye on them, watch them change or go away (please Lord please!) because I don't want to take him into the pediatrician and have it be nothing....
AND they are cropping up on Elizabeth now too, so I have to wait another day to see if they turn pimply on her....
Gah!
Vaccines are worthless!

Isn't the chicken pox vaccine not actually supposed to prevent chicken pox? Just make it milder, or cut the risk of that rickets develop or something?

That's what I just found out!
And the gal at the doctors office told me I don't even need to bring the kids in to get checked.
That seems weird.

I'd think it was weird to bring them in for chicken pox, unless something strange was going on. I don't remember going. . .maybe my sister, but she got them in *ahem* private areas, so I think she needed some cream. Or something.

I have no idea if these are actually Chicken Pox or not.
Dylan's getting more of them, but Elizabeth seems to be holding steady and her spots aren't changing as fast as Dylan's are.
Very strange.

Maybe the vaccine is helping them!

Oh my gosh. I would be freaking out if I were you. Or even if you lived near us. Drew can't have the vaccine and we've been told if he's ever exposed or exposed to someone whose been exposed to call the doctor immediately! Obviously he is a special case, but I'm freaking out over here!

PS Drew says thanks for getting the pox vaccine, it keeps kids like him who can't get it safer too.

Well of course! If it is CP it's the mildest case of CP I've ever seen. 20 bumps max.
But that's just so far. I might have just jinxed myself!
