Will they call him mellow yellow?

Baby Dylan has the jaundice!
Oh no!
I really don't think it will be that bad. Our pediatrician is sending over a bili light blanket that we have to wrap him in all night and then we have to get him re-tested in the morning to see if his levels have decreased.
Keep your fingers crossed!

Mr. Pickles is the BEST. This is officially my favorite picture of him so far. I think it's funny how both your kids have strange ways of positioning their arms when they sleep. My favorite Elizabeth pix are the ones where her arms are splayed out like she's about to dive into a pool. (P.S. Remember, jaundice is OK. See me for evidence. Hold the sarcastic comments...)

Mr. Dyl Pickles is getting better!
His bilirubin level is dropping, thanks to the blanket of alien lights!

OJ cures scurvy?
I did not know that, but it makes sense.

OJ does indeed cure scurvy. And am I the only person who long mistakenly thought biliruben was named after a Mr. Billy Reuben? Suddenly I'm in the mood for a pastrami reuben...

Yellow or not, he's a cutie.

I hope Dyl jumps into the pink or peach range soon. Don't want people mistaking him for Tweety ;-)

The whole OJ - scurvy controversy is easily explained. OJ Simpson had rickets when he was a child, not scurvy. Scurvy is cured by Vitamin C which is found in oj. Whew.
