Mouse on the Bed, Part 2

Why?
Why does Louie do this?

Leaving dead mouse bodies around the house is bad enough. He should NOT be putting live mice on my bed while I am sleeping in it! Not even when I'm NOT sleeping in it. Never ever.

He did this again last night around midnight, sparking off a complete hysterical fit (thrown by me) which was unappreciated by my husband who solved the problem by moving every piece of furniture in our house.

The mouse ran out of our room and into the living room where Bob and Louie terrorized it until they both gave up and went back to sleep.

Still no sign of the mouse this morning. I'm sure it will turn up as soon as Bob leaves for work.

My pleasure!
I'd rather have woken up and had the mouse on the bed be a dream, but alas, it was all too real.

I'd think about putting a lock on the kitty-door, Jessy. Seriously, I wouldn't want mice and rats anywhere near the kids. The cats would go through a little TSA inspection before getting into my house.

We bought that special door with the four way lock, in only, out only, both, neither. The friggin cats broke it.
So now I have to put a dining room chair in front of the door so it can't swing inward. That's the only way to stop them, and I forget to do it all the time.

The hunt for the missing mouse continues...I can't find the damn thing anywhere.

Check the laundry room yet?

oh yes. We've checked everywhere...that thing is a good hider.
I think it might be the same one from the other night, since we never found a corpse for that guy either...

One of these days, he'll get tired, and he'll get got.

I thought you got Louie a bell for his collar. If these mice are too stupid not to run at that sound, they deserve to get eaten. Not, of course, in your bed, but nonetheless! Oh, and those doors suck. Our cats' friends the racoons broke ours (or my parents' that is).

Yes yes, they were BOTH be-belled. Apparently, they are so very stealthy.

I'm equal parts pissed and impressed.

I'm not even going to get into my long history with animal woes, but the extermination program is still going strong.

I haven't had any recent sightings, but I suspect Hector brought in something the other night. No proof yet.

We got a rat as a present from Louie last night. That thing was found and destroyed pronto. Bob killed it with a water key, leaving a nice big bloody smear on the carpet.
But, dead is dead.

They might break kitty-door locks, but duct-tape works wonders. :D

I'd like to duct tape their mouths shut. Or duct tape them to a tree...something horrible.

Oh, please, let's not give Chris any more ideas. My stomach can't handle it.
