Two nights ago I was laying in bed, listening to the baby monitor, trying to go to sleep.
Dylan was quiet. All I heard was the hum from his ceiling fan.
I started to fall asleep. Then I heard voices.
I picked up the monitor and heard nothing.
I started to fall asleep again, thinking I must have been dreaming the voices...then I heard them again...
I turned the volume of the monitor way up and found that it was picking up a Spanish-language radio station!
Relieved that I wasn't going crazy, I promptly fell asleep.

Dammit. Now I'm going to be singing that song all day.
Well, I guess I know what four bars of what song will be going through my head all day now. Thanks, Jessey!
Incidentally, we get the "alien baby" on ours. At least we did when Athena was young. I guess now that baby is old enough not to need the monitor anymore.
I used to hate that... getting up in the middle of the night thinking it was Athena only to find her sound asleep in her crib. Gah!
Jinx Jason!
You're on a Mexican radiooooo.
You're on a Mexican radiooooo.
Haven't you heard that old song?
Of COURSE I've heard that song! That's the whole joke!
I'm on a Mexican, whoa oh, radio
That's my jam.
Not really, but it's a good 80's jam.
I may only be 27, but my cultural frame of reference extends far and wide...far....and....wide....
