Deal Or No Deal?

In honor of "Deal or No Deal?" starting up again tomorrow night, I went and played the online version of the game today.

My first effort was dismal, I knocked off all the big amounts in the first two rounds and ended up winning the amount in my case: $75.

My second try was better, I didn't knock off the two largest amounts until the fourth and fifth round and I again ended up with the amount in my case, this time it was $300,000....

I wonder if the third time is a charm??

My third time I ended up with like $50,000 so no. SECOND time is the charm.

There can't be a pattern to the "randomness" of the insertion of the money into the cases...allegedly....

It's completely a game of luck. There is no skill involved whatsoever. Anyone who says differently should purchase a helmet.

Nay, nay, say I. The skill involved is knowing the odds and quitting when they are stacked against you.

$200,000 in my case. I got down to the last two cases, one with 200K and one with 400K and they offered me 213K not to open my case. WTF. For 13K, I'll risk possibly getting 400K. You have to sweeten the pot more than that!

Did you watch last night when the guy had the $3 million in his case but he sold it for $675,000...ARGH!
You'd kick yourself everyday!
