A nice problem to have

I'm shrinking.
Literally.

Two months ago all my jeans were tight. Then my whole life exploded with crap. Suddenly, my jeans were loose. Two weeks ago, I couldn't keep my pants up while shopping in Wal-Mart. Since I didn't want to show the town my underwear, I went and bought two new pairs of jeans a size smaller. When I tried them on at home (I hate dressing rooms) one pair fit perfect and one was a little snug. I figured, I'll just try to lose five pounds (I have to anyway!). I wore that snug pair today. They fit fine, in fact, they were falling off a little bit. I even pulled them right off without unbuttoning or unzipping.
I'm wearing a pair of capris now that I haven't been able to wear since BEFORE I had kids. Two months ago they were split a seam snug, now, they are baggy.

I am shrinking.

Wish I had your problem! I'm trying to lose 15 pounds of baby weight. If I knew it was going to be so hard in advance, I would have ate less ice cream while pregnant! Now I know for next time...

Are you still breastfeeding? I know that's helping me shrink away.

I remember that. Right after my divorce I was 125 pounds. 125!! I've gained some weight since then, but I'm not telling how much.

Isn't it nice how emotional trauma seems to be good for your cardiovascular system? Nice, eh?

I suppose for every action there is an equal, but opposite reaction.

I'm not complaining at all. And I'm still eating and all that, so don't worry.
I'm starting to think I might have a tapeworm or something :)

Yes, still breastfeeding...even though I hate it :) But if it can help me lose weight, I'm all for it!

You hate it?! I'm still nursing Dylan, it's great. It gets better. Trust me.

I need to lose around 20 lbs and get back to my previous hockey playing weight. I was sloooow last night.

Well, Chris, since you cannot breastfeed (at least without MUCH difficulty) and I do not recommend the "great emotional disturbance" diet that I am on, perhaps TrimSpa, baby?

:)

I've heard from others that it is one of the best things that comes out a divorce. Enjoy the skinny you!

Hmm, I wouldn't go so far as SKINNY, but smaller, yep. Smaller.
