Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow already!!!

We have had two incidents of snow all winter so far.
One was in November, and immediately melted. The other was last week, and also immediately melted.
Last winter was a crazy snow extravaganza, this winter, nothing.
What do I personally have to do to make it snow here?

Today we were forecasted some snow, I was excited, but so far we've only gotten rain and some hail.
We're under a damn NWS Snow Advisory, which basically says look out people the snow's a'comin'! But it's not. They're telling us to look out for 3-6 inches of snow...at this point, I'll take one damn inch.
That's us in Show Low, in that big blue swath of snow advisory...I remain skeptical.

I've never made a snowman, had a snowball fight, or made snow angels like I see everyone do on t.v. Houston sucks.

Funny Amy! I feel better already.

You're lucky to get any snow. We get zero snow here. We'd need the next ice age to start for us to get snow *sigh* One does get bored with fantastic weather all year long ;-)

After waiting all day with our noses pressed up against the window, praying for snow...
We got nothing.
We got rain, freezing rain, sleet and hail, but no snow.
It seems like Alaska is hording all the snow. Hmm.

Since I'm an old lady, I'm obsessed with The Weather Channel. I was watching it yesterday and it was showing the crazy low temperatures in Alaska...I think it was -2 in Anchorage or some nutsy thing. But it was -38 in Fairbanks. WHO in their right mind would live in Fairbanks? I've only ever heard bad things about the place.

See, that's pretty much what I've heard, in a nutshell.

You've convinced me. I hate walking my dogs when it's 50 degrees.
