Breakfast of, um, champions?
This morning, Elizabeth presented me with a berry pie (you know, those horribly fatty terribly delicious sweet single serving calzone-ish pies they sell at the grocery store) and wanted it for breakfast.
I told her no, it was for after dinner - or preferably never.
And she launched into full-blown fit mode.
I tried to appease her with other more suitable breakfast foods, mostly cereal bars.
Me: This one (banana nut bar)?
Elizabeth: No. No way.
Me: This one (cranberry almond bar)?
Elizabeth: No. No way.
Me: Chocolate? (Cocoa Krispies bar)
Elizabeth: No.
Me: Cheerios? (Honey Nut Cheerios bar)
Elizabeth: Yeah!
Me: (starting to open the package)
Elizabeth: NO! No. No way.
Me: (Exasperated) Shrek?? (holding up Shrek shaped fruit snacks)
Elizabeth: Yes! Yay!
Then she ran away, gobbled up the Shreks and came back for an applesauce.
She has seemingly forgotten all about the horribly bad for her berry pie. Who bought that anyway?
Devilish pie procurer!

I think these pies, and blossoming womanhood, is what made me chunky as a kid.
I used to eat these things all the time. Very bad for you.
The berry one has like 60 grams of carbs...that is sickening!
OMG. Those things are delicious! My favorite is cherry. I haven't had one of those in years.
