Before Bob left for the dentist to get his teeth yanked out, he was looking around for his toothbrush. Doesn't everyone furiously brush their teeth before they go to the dentist?? Well, he couldn't FIND his toothbrush. I asked him "How do you LOSE a toothbrush?" He said, "I put it in my truck, so I wouldn't forget it today, and it must have fallen out." I couldn't stop laughing.
I like this song "An Honest Mistake" by The Bravery. Ok, like isn't the right word. I LOOOOOVE this song. I'm kind of obsessed with it. Anyway, we're listening to it the other day and I said, "This song is so good. They kind of sound like The Cure....only BETTER! No! No! I didn't say that! I didn't say that! Love The Cure, love The Cure!" Whew, that was a close one!
This afternoon, just a few minutes ago, Dylan was pretty fussy and I had to change Elizabeth into clothes better suited for warmer weather. I HAD to put him down...he was not happy. I put him into his bouncer seat by the computer which was playing music from our MP3s. I came back from Elizabeth's room to find him completely asleep listening to "Lodi Dodi" by Snoop Dogg.
On a related note: Dylan was crabby the other day when I was trying to make dinner. I was playing music and the only song that calmed him down was "Tha Next Episode" a Dr. Dre and Snoop tune. What can I say the kid loves gangsta rap.
Am I a bad mother if I listen to Cypress Hill in the car with my kids? It's a valid question.

Either Elizabeth is tiny or Dylan is enormous. Which is it?
When Athena was an infant, the only music that would calm her down in the car was Rob Zombie/White Zombie. Go figure.
He is ENORMOUS!
He's three months old and he already has to weigh about 15 pounds. Maybe more. What can I say, I make a good product.
Also, she IS a skinny minnie. She's just over 2 years old and weighs about 26 pounds. She's kinda tall but skinny. That's a toddler for you, she never eats.
Oh, and Elizabeth's favorite music (before she got into Dora and Spongebob and all that crap) was Britney Spears.
Ugh! Thank goodness we didn't expose her to the "baby-killing driver."
Here is yet another coincidence in our lives. We both have VERY cute kids. :-)
Indeed!!
Even with the pudding ring around my kid's mouth, she's still cute.
Or that might be chocolate milk...hmm
