Here's my mom's recipe...I can't read it either!
Starting with canned whole tomatoes...
Puree...
There's me!
Add some garlic and onions...
Simmer for an hour...
Add tomato pastes, spices and herbs...
Simmer for another hour and voila!
You're ready to fill jars!
You boil the jars foooooreeeeeverrrrrr....then you have canned tomato sauce that will last in the cupboard as well as Ragu, but tastes 1000 times better...

We had ravioli last night with the fresh sauce. Delicious!
It was an extra special batch this time because I got to use fresh rosemary and fresh oregano from our blossoming summer garden. Yahoo!
