Not content to sit back and watch Louie have all the fun (or maybe because Louie has been merciful as of late) our sweet little Baby took over the lizard killing operation at our house.
Baby came in through the pet door with a HUGE lizard, maybe bigger than any lizard Louie's caught this summer, at least as big as Louie's biggest.
I was totally surprised. I never thought Baby had a killer instinct - he's so timid and shy - but I guess at some point the animal instinct takes over.
Of course, Louie got in on the action once the lizard was in the house. He's sitting with it under the dining room table now, waiting for it to die. Oh, no, he just lost interest and left a mostly dead lizard under my dining room table twitching and gasping for breath.
Thanks guys!
Now Elizabeth is screaming at Louie "Get the LIZARD! Get the lizard LOUIE!!!"
And she just crawled past the table as fast as she could whispering to herself "Okay, okay, okay...Don't be scared, don't be scared."

Will Baby be wearing the Dora hat anytime soon?
He's definitely going to have to wear a bell collar now that he's taken an interest in murder.
I was telling my mom yesterday that the killing had dwindled down here and she was very glad:
"Oh good! All those germs they were bringing it, it's disgusting!"
Yeah, the germs are bad, but Elizabeth probably brings in more germs from sitting in her stanky car seat. It's the beheaded lizard bodies and rodent entrails that I'm particularly concerned about.
Elizabeth noticed a stink the other day and it seems Hector brought in a large bird. It had been rotting under the dining room table. Lovely.
Baby is still warming up with lizards, thankfully. So we may have a week or two before he moves on to buzzards and elk.
Between the two of them, you may no longer need to go to the grocery store. They'll be bringing down cattle.
Beef, it's what's for dinner...
There are a ton of cows right down the road from us...hmm...
