A boiling hot pit of tar!

This whole park smells like roadwork because of this tar pit. It's right in Los Angeles. It's very close to Beverly Hills.

Here is a fake mammoth falling into the tar, much like a real mammoth would have about 30,000 years ago.

There is also a museum that displays the bones that scientists have found in the tar. Elizabeth was SLIGHTLY afraid of the life size recreations of some of the animals they've removed. She was particularly scared of the skin and all recreation of the mammoth. Even though I kept telling her it was "just like Ice Age". She didn't care.

Here's a bunch of wolf skulls from the tar pit. 404 to be exact. There were around 1,600 wolf skulls removed altogether.

Here's Dylan and Elizabeth lounging by the tar pit.

Here's the bubbling (yes, bubbling) pit of tar. Nice right?
Don't worry, it's fenced off!
