Elizabeth got to go to the Santa Barbara Zoo yesterday (the bright spot of a day bookended by suckiness).
She saw gibbons, leopards, fish, tiny otters, giraffes, penguins, lions, a gorilla, but by far her favorite was the ef-eh-lant aka elephant.
Then we had In-N-Out burgers for lunch.
Yum.
Today it's off to the La Brea Tar Pits. Yee haw!

She lives in Simi Valley. It's about an hour from here to Santa Barbara and about an hour the other way to La Brea.
Dude!! Why didn't you tell me you were going to the tar pits?? I totally woulda met you there! I love that place. Goopy and icky and gross -- much like LA! Yay! :)
