Despereaux Housewives

My mom took the kids to see "Despereaux" and I was supposed to sort through all the toys in the playroom (yes, we converted the family room to a playroom) and toss the old, broken, horrible and otherwise undesirable toys. Well, that was the plan.
Then I got on Facebook.
Why god why?

Oh, because Facebook is fun! At first you feel like a stalker, being able to read all the notes your friends are writing to their friends you don't know, but then you get used to it. I'm going to go find you right now!

Amy is so right, it's stalkerville at its finest! I am telling you, the blog will slack b/c you get so caught up in the whole, "I NEED to know what so & so looks like from girls scout camp and request them to be my friend b/c we spent that one week together so many moons ago". It's a little weird. I grew up in a small town (small but not 1 stop light small) and everyone is connected to everyone on FB... it's very weird. Enjoy the latest and greatest addiction!

I already feel the stalker vibe, but it's like sanctioned stalking...so it's OK!
Like I really need ANOTHER web addiction!

ps I love the whole "people you might know" thing on facebook. It's on myspace too. It's Big Brother technology at its best!

Wait until you get friend requests from people that you went to high school with, and you'll look at the screen and say, "Who the eff are you?" I kept yelling at mine the other night, David thought I was talking to the girl.
