I'm certain you've seen mine. Everybody has. :D

Hillbilly chick turned cop needs the help of an incarcerated gourmet to track down a killer tailor with a bug fetish.

This is getting crazy! Mine was not A Fish Called Wanda. I don't think Susie's third one is Ghost. . .oh, Always! My husband LOVES Holly Hunter and wanted to name our daughter Drinda, after her character in the movie. That's not even a word. I don't know what Jason's first one is, but it sounds Coen Brothers-ish. The last one is Silence of the Lambs.

Susie said...

Okay, Amy, Splash??

And you are right, the third one is Always. I love that movie too :D

This one still has no answer:

Practical joker takes new kid to boarding school under his wing while they and their friends foil a teacher's devious plot to use their school project for a nefarious purpose.

As a hint.. these guys love popcorn!

*A group of ordinary New Yorkers are terrorized by gang members hired by a ruthless developer who wants to buy their apartment building. They miraculously emerge from the ordeal in better condition than they started.

This is the one from the other post too.

Jason said...

Is the popcorn one "Real Genius"? It's been forever since I've seen that one.

Jason said...

A mother's love is turned to rage when space marines invade her adopted home and murder all of her children.

Susie said...

Jason - Yes! I love that movie.

Amy said...

Mine is not Splash.

I think it's time for all the unsolved mysteries to become clear!!!

starting with
Schlub of a man with vision problems falls for woman who is more than meets the eye.

A group of ordinary New Yorkers are terrorized by gang members hired by a ruthless developer who wants to buy their apartment building. They miraculously emerge from the ordeal in better condition than they started.

A mother's love is turned to rage when space marines invade her adopted home and murder all of her children.

And I'll solve the puzzle on this one from Jason...
"An ex-con and his brother hatch a scheme to earn money to pay off the back taxes on the orphanage that raised them. On the way, they have a religious experience and run afoul of the law."

This is Blues Brothers, yes?

Susie said...

Mine was *Batteries Not Included.

Jessica said...

Of course!

Jason said...

Blues Brothers is correct.

The mother's love turns to rage one is...Aliens.

Jason said...

Amy's one could be X-men.

Amy said...

It's Shallow Hal.
