This is bullshit. Three weeks ago I got the HTA. Yesterday I got my flipping period. Unbelievable. My uterus is bionic and not going down without a fight.
AMY! Yes. If I hadn't just boiled my uterus beyond it's usability point I totally would be a surrogate mom. I can still donate eggs so if anyone wants ridiculously adorable yet annoying kids....holla!
UPDATE: The "period" seems to be a hormonally triggered upswing in the normal amount of discharge. I base this on the fact that I'm not hemorrhaging like a Freddy Kruger victim, as per usual. I'm not a doctor, I just play one on this blog. FOUR weeks of any sort of discharge is "normal" following the HTA.... Check back in exactly SIX days!!!! :)
So I was telling Bill about this procedure (because I was totally unfamiliar with it prior to reading about your experience) - and he said, maybe they didn't boil her uterus, maybe they just poached it.

Wow. So unfair. The bionic uterus comment was pretty funny though, sorry I laughed.
That sucks! I was just thinking about you and your boiled uterus yesterday, wondering if you're happy with it. I guess not today. :( Sorry friend.
I'm sorry:(
We need to figure out how to bottle our fertility, we will be rich. I am on my second period only 2 1/2 months after giving birth.

PS Sorry for saying discharge.
