Here is Dylan's room, the after....never before.
Note all the toys have a bucket to live in, there's NOTHING scattered all over the floor.
That's Dylan's big head at the bottom.
This room looks 400 percent better than before.
Here is Dylan while under his dad's supervision...yeah.
Here is Elizabeth showing off her new "tweety" toy that I made for her. Did you know it catches your bad dreams in its brain and gives its good dreams to you? Me neither, but apparently, that's exactly what it does. She picked all the garish colors, not I.

Love it! I love CLEAN!
Did the before photo have a fully naked girl, instead of half naked?
The room is very nice! has it remained in such a state after hours of playing???
and I love the way amy thinks... i was thinking the same thing.....
;)
one more thing... you have a lot of mommy and daddy-types reading your blog.... I gotta ask your audience...
there is a couple I know who recently (i.e. last Saturday) gave birth to their first child. They plan to take newborn babe to a crabfeed a handful of us are attending. A charity crab feed, complete with all you can drink wine and beer.... and 400 others.
am I crazy in thinking that this is an insane idea???? week old baby amongst 400 drinking, crabby-fingered foolios? many of whom they know personally, so the crab-eaters will probably want to touch, look at and see newborn babe? or am I just over-reacting?
Clean is great! It's staying clean too. It's easy to clean it up with all those toy bins. The kids are being great and responsible. And mom is pitching in, because she knows that doing a little bit every day is better than three hours once a month or so.
And oddly enough, Elizabeth started out that day fully clothed and ended up half clothed. In fact she just streaked by me in her birthday suit...
Crazy kids.
The night air makes them crazy!
As for crab feeds for week old babies, I wouldn't do it.
Not because of alcohol or crab necessarily, though they aren't pluses...but because a room of 400 people in wintertime is full of germs. Week old babies shouldn't be out in germ central. Period. Their pediatrician probably already told them to stay home for the first few weeks and they'll do whatever they want anyway, and they'll run the risk of having a sick baby in wintertime. Not fun.
