Big Brother 11 - Wow I'm old!

First, I can't believe this is the 11th season (seasonette) of this show. I still remember BB1, it was on six nights a week. It was awesome.

Anyway...BB11...

I missed the inaugural episode because I was too busy jamming down on Rock Band at Club Fig with Chantal and Melissa...yo, real life interfered! Sucka!

But I did catch the last two episodes and here's my take so far...

EVERYONE! Stop trying so hard to maneuver and be slick and take over the game and run the house and be the man/WOman and run the table and all that crap...

The first week should be a chill week. The most obnoxious, annoying, overplaying/useless/incompetent person should be voted out. It's a gimme week. Week one you lay low, you act nicely to everyone, you skate by.....

So on the block initially were Lydia and Chima. Lydia being the bleach blonde punk Offbeat and Chima the over-confident, self-proclaimed DIIIIVA brain -- who incidentally was ready to quit after the first competition.

Tonight the POV removed Lydia from the nomination chairs and replaced her with Braden, the Zoolander-esque man-child.

Supposedly Chima is up as a pawn. But you know how that goes.
And even despite the last minute plan to back door Braden, I think Chima will get the boot this week.

I bet that Chima is eliminated.

Flipping Ronnie! Ugh.

My husband has been making me watch this, and I accidently fell in love with it! I hate Ronnie though. And I hate Chima. And did Jordan really say last night, "I'm not the smartest crayon in the box."??

Wow. This is good stuff.

I hate Ronnie too. And Chima is worthless.
I also chuckled a lot when Jordan said she wasn't the smartest crayon in the box. She also can't tell time, as they showed us last week.
Sigh. This week's elimination is going to hurt me either way. And if Jesse's goon squad doesn't win HoH, it's curtains for the eraser head aka Jesse.

Good point. I forgot about the time-telling incident. And every time they show that shot of Ronnie dancing around with glee at the beginning of the show, Dave and I dissolve into giggles for ten minutes. That guy is the most gigantic dork I've ever had the privilege of gawking at. Also I'm kind of (read: EXTREMELY) in love with Jeff. He's hot. And I feel for him. He totally wants a showmance with Jordan but it would just be too embarrassing due to her extremely impressive derth of normal human intelligence.

I love how it seems like I'm talking to myself here!
But yeah, seriously, Jeff is fly. I want him to win the show.
I still remember the first moment I realized it was love for us...er, for me...
It was when Russell was going off on Jeff about Braden saying something crappy to Lydia...and Jeff was like "What did you want me to do? Drown him?"

Ah...love.

PS I also love you and your husband for getting into BB as much as I do...we can all be Big Brother buddies. :)

I want Jeff to win the show too. I think I started loving him when he was on the treadmill getting attacked by Russell for the word he chose to spell. He was like, "You spelled SHOTGUN! Are you KIDDING me?"

He's so cool.

Aw! We fell for Jeff at the same time!
And even though Russell apparently went to my college, I can't like him....though it was funny when he was chasing Ronnie around calling him a ratty rat ratterson. I laughed at that.

Ratty McRatterson! I roared at that. It was pretty funny. Even though I don't like a bully. But then I felt bad for Ronnie when he cried. It was pathetic, talking to the picture of his wife and all.

Ronnie totally deserved the Russell treatment. I loved when Russell would hear Ronnie get called to the diary room and rush over to meet up with him and harass him. Fantastic.
